Coverage
At Baby Trend®, we make quality, comfortable and stylish products for babies and children. We warrant our product to be free from defects in material and workmanship existing at the time of manufacture for a period of one year from the date of the initial purchase (hereafter as "limited warranty"). Please note that valid Proof of Purchase is required. If such a defect is discovered during this limited warranty period, we will, at our sole option, repair or replace your product at no cost to you.
This limited warranty does not cover claims resulting from misuse, abuse, abnormal use, alteration, failure to follow the instructions on installation, maintenance and use, improper assembly, environmental exposure, involvement in an accident, and normal wear and tear.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, WRITTEN OR ORAL, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY EXPRESS WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts; therefore, the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.
THE CUSTOMER'S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR OF ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE SHALL BE LIMITED AS SPECIFIED HEREIN TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AT OUR SOLE OPTION. IN ANY EVENT, RESPONSIBILITY FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES IS EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED.

To Start a Claim
To begin a warranty claim, customers must contact Customer Service by phone at 1-800-328-7363 or through the Contact Us section of our website.
A representative will review your request and may guide you through troubleshooting steps to better understand the issue. This step is required before a warranty determination can be made.
Customers should have the following information available when contacting Customer Service:
- Full name and contact information (phone and email)
- Mailing address
- Product model number and manufacturing date
- Proof of Purchase is required to submit a warranty claim. Accepted forms include a store receipt, gift receipt, or other documentation showing the date and place of purchase.
- Photos and/or videos clearly showing the issue
- Any original packaging or included materials (if available)
Additional photos, videos, or documentation may be requested during the claim review process to assist with evaluating the concern.
Customers must retain possession of the product until the warranty claim has been reviewed and a representative provides further instruction. Disposing of or returning a product without authorization may affect our ability to evaluate the warranty claim.
Inspection
A Return Authorization (RMA) number will be issued for all warranty claims prior to further processing. Please do not ship any item back without an authorized RMA number. In some cases, customers may be required to return the product for inspection. If a return is required, Baby Trend will provide a prepaid shipping label and return instructions.

If a product is returned for inspection, it will be reviewed upon receipt at our facility. Inspection is typically completed within 7 business days after the product is delivered to our facility. Review timelines may vary depending on claim volume and case complexity.
After the review is complete, a Baby Trend representative will follow up with the outcome of the warranty evaluation and any next steps in accordance with the terms of the Limited Warranty.
